Winged headed bull ( Shedu )
In Mesopotamian mythology, Shedu , similar to Lammasu, is a protective spirit. He has a bull's body, eagle's wings and the head of a human being. He was represented, by pair, at the entrance of cities, temples and palaces to repel evil spirits and enemies.
