VR Installation, Google Tilt Brush
Statement:
Virtual sculptures are produced through Google Tilt Brush and Oculus Rift. It's dealing with the hands' gestures in virtual space and the virtual textures and even keywords.
Everything is focused on energy and flux. It is also questioning the paradigm of Sculpture with the absence of Earth gravity, new material (smoke for example), and also floating object in space. Everything is possible.
As the result of the VR as a simulation, the still images produced are turning from sculpture to painting with a 3D perspective effect inside the abstract iconology of the result as a painting...
At the time of the post-internet, the post media, the post sculpture and post painting. Virtual Reality is a way to question all of these practices through a new kind of simulation and as Philip K Dick said: “Reality is that which doesn’t go away when you stop believing in it.”
A simulation has no moral, prejudice, or meaning. Like nature, it is as for facts and on the other hand, Art has the same behavior by being both a reality and a simulation !"
